At Cloudwalker Teas we are pleased to be able to offer a very special service. Tea workshops. We pour our fine teas in the gong fu cha Chinese tradition for groups of up to eight people.
At a time when the Western World is moving at an increasingly frenetic
pace, taking time each day to be calm and find inner peace is more and
more important. Cloudwalker Teas offers tea appreciation and meditation
to anyone interested in learning more about the ancient art of gong fu
cha. The gong fu of any action is to seek to perfect that action
knowing that only the divine is perfect, and therefore perfection is a
quest in vain, but to strive for it none-the-less; cha is tea. Hence:
the gong fu of tea. Through drinking our gao dang (top shelf) teas in
this Chinese traditional method, you can immediately experience a sense
of release. You appreciate the tea for what it is, enjoying its aromas
and flavours and feel the chi of each cup as it enters your being. Many
have said drinking our teas in this fashion helps them to clear their
minds and meditate more deeply and truly than they are sometimes capable
of on their own. Invite us to host and entertain your clients, or
guests. We offer this unique service in the Ottawa area (and anywhere
within reasonable driving distance). Learn a bit about tea; clear your
mind and that of your guests for an hour or two and seek your own dao
(way).
We usually serve 2-3 teas per hosted session and attempt to keep the
number of guests to six (6), though we can serve up to eight (8).
Smaller numbers
are more intimate and each person is better able to find their inner
calm. If you wish to increase productivity in your team, or impress a
potential client, or entertain your guests in a less traditional
fashion, call us to share with you this ancient Chinese ritual. For the
