A very fine quality, partially aged sheng pu erh tea. This is a high energy tea. It is not yet fully mature but it still exhibits a very fine, if green imperial nature. It is at once clean, crisp, sharp and slightly biting due to it's relative youth. Such is the way with un-cooked, 'live' pu erh (sheng), it remains a constantly growing and evolving tea which can be enjoyed now and will only continue to improve with age. It is a fine introduction to the qualities and characteristics common to high level sheng pu erh teas. It is also an excellent introduction to cake pu erh teas for those who have not tried them before. 95g.
